This brand new home was going on the market upon completion, in a quickly growing new suburb, so it needed selections to set it apart from the rest, but nothing that was going to break the bank either. We decided on a more urban vibe in this space, and rather than go with the ever appealing white cabinetry, we took it dark. The drawer and door fronts were upgraded to Polytec ‘Cinder’ in a matt vinyl finish. We also introduced some warmth to the space using Polytec ‘Prime Oak’ on the barback, as well as introducing a display box in the matching finish underneath the rear wall overheads for a point of interest and somewhere for the new owner to style up without stealing too much space from the overhead storage. We kept the overhead cabinetry handless to keep it clean, and the use of plain white subway tiles is a fantastic budget option that looks gorgeous but keeps costs down. Stone tops were selected from the standard range ‘Smartstone’ to keep the budget in check but the colour selection works fabulously in the space! Spent some dollars on a few simple kitchen upgrades that really took the space from a dime-a-dozen to a unique space for the buyer!
